Many friends and family attended. My parents were always avid travelers, so what better birthday cake than an Airstream Travel Trailer. That is what 2010 has been like for the studio. Started the new year off with a visit to Nashville to continue my education at the Professional Photograher's of American convention. The event was incredible. Visiting the trade show, attending classes and spending time with the others in the photography industry is a great way to start off the year.

As soon as I arrived home, the sessions began. Here is a peak at my first 2010 session of a lovely family with a new addition.

This is the time of year that I usually avoid the outdoors due to the heat. But, we have been so blessed lately with really nice weather. The slightly cooler temperatures have encouraged me to be outdoors. I seem to always have company as you can see.

My company, aka KOBY, is looking at everything in the yard, squirells, dragon flies, butterflies, just about anything that moves. I think I really enjoy watching him on patrol.

He was very busy today with a dragonfly. He got him cornered on the trailer hitch. He was just like a statue, the pointer came out in him.

He was contemplating his game play. He was very intense on his work!

Suddenly, the dragonfly soared into the air and Koby was not ready. He looked at me as if to say, "I had him, he was right in my grasp, how could he have gotten away". Sorry Koby, maybe next time.

Today is my youngest son's 11th Birthday. Parker will be starting middle school this year. I have always thought of him as my baby, but he really has changed so much over the last few months. He seems so independent. He has always been very kind and quiet (like his father). But, slowly he is becoming more outgoing as he gets older.
